Description
The Type 56 Chinese Projected Grenade a high-explosive anti-tank (HEAT), fin-stabilized, projected grenade fired from a shoulder launcher, a copy of the Russian PG-2 and uses a base-detonating (BD), impact-inertia fuze.

Design
The grenade's upper body has an anti-ricochet cap at the forward end. Variant 1 has a smooth tapered windshield and Variant 2 has a tapered fluted windshield with eight grooves.
Both have a cylindrical upper body that is crimped onto a tapered lowered body.
The windshield and upper body are one piece.
The boom is six-sided and has a protruding guide pin at the forward end.
The rear portion is cylindrical, it has six grooves, six flexible fins and a primer housing.
The primer housing has a primer at the side and a threaded propellant support at the rear.
