The RSR312 is a lightweight 3D X-band (IEEE designation) battlefield surveillance radar system, also known as I/J-band (NATO designation). Manufactured by Reutech Radar Systems in South Africa, it is designed for detecting, tracking, and determining the position of both surface and airborne targets within its instrumented range of 92 km (50 nautical miles). Operating with a peak power of 250 W and a beamwidth of 0.8°, the RSR312 can function as a standalone unit or as an integrated component within a larger radar network, with antenna rotation speeds configurable to 6, 9, or 12 revolutions per minute.
