Manufacturer INA
Impact Fuze It has a nose direct impact fuze with a safety cap that is removed prior to firing and a long tail unit with 8 fixed fins at the back.
Launch Cartridge The OG-15 uses an OG-15P launch cartridge similar to the electrically initiated PG-15P launch cartridge. The OG-15 is fired from the 2A28 GROM gun used on the Russian BMP-1 AFV. On firing the lugs on the spigot shear off, leaving the fired empty launch cartridge behind in the gun.
Note It is not a rocket, like the PG-15 (ПГ-15) HEAT rocket as it has no rocket motor and is not a projectile as it has no driving band. The only difference between OG-15 and OG-9 is the type of launch cartridge and the gun used.
