N22-N(3D)
The N22-N(3D), also known as NUR22-N(3D), is an S-band (IEEE designation) or F-band (NATO designation) air surveillance radar. Operating within a frequency range of 3.2 to 3.4 GHz, it is designed for tactical applications, serving as a self-protection sensor for ground troops or as a mobile gap filler within a broader radar network. Its rotating phased array antenna utilizes multiple stacked beams in the elevation plane to determine a target's azimuth, range, and height across a wide range of elevation angles, with a short data refreshment time due to its antenna rotation speed of 12 or 24 revolutions per minute. The radar has an instrumented range of 60 or 100 km, a range resolution of 120 meters, and a beamwidth of 3 degrees, with a peak power of 10 or 20 kW.
