Description

The VisionMaster FT is a naval navigation and surveillance radar system manufactured by Sperry Marine, a part of Northrop Grumman, in the United States. Operating in the S-band at 3,050 MHz with a peak power of 30 kW, it offers an instrumented range of 96 nautical miles (approximately 192 km). The system features advanced automatic clutter suppression to enhance the detection of small targets in adverse weather, utilizing pulse repetition frequencies of 3,000, 1,800, or 785 Hz, and pulsewidths of 0.05, 0.25, or 0.75 µs. It supports various antenna sizes for both S-band (with beamwidths of 2° or 2.8° and rotation speeds of 28 or 45 revolutions per minute) and X-band operation, and can integrate third-party radar sensors such as the Terma Scanter 6002.
