Design
The body is made of die-cast aluminum, it narrows in diameter halfway down the landmine side then tapers toward the bottom.
The center part of the landmine body is held in place by a latch and pin which are removed when the landmine is armed.
The center of the landmine body is rotated 90' from the "S" safe position to the "A" armed position for operation.
Pressure Plate
The landmine is actuated by a pressure of 6 kg on top of the landmine or 6 kg of pull on one of the four tripwires that may be attached to the landmine with a trip lever.
Fragmentation
When actuated the landmine expels a spherical fragmentation ball up 2 meters.
The ball resembles a hand grenade and it contains 170 g of Comp B to propel fragmentation to a radius of 20 meters.
