Description
The SA-100 Iranian Projected Grenade is a high explosive (HE), fragmentation, fin-stabilized, rifle grenade with an impact-inertia fuze.

The grenade is painted black overall and has white markings on the tail boom.
The grenade uses a special rifle grenade cartridge (Calibre .308) for launching.
The grenade consists of the warhead, fuze and stabilizer assemblies.
The warhead assembly consists of an outer body, inner fragmenting body and the explosive charge.
The outer body is a plastic shell moulded over the inner body.
It is rounded at the forward end and is flat at the rear where it has a moulded internally threaded fuze well.
The forward end is serrated and is divided into 12 rows each having eight segments.
The segments near the center of the body are larger than the ones toward the nose.
