Description
The PV-1110 (Pvpj 1110) Swedish 90mm Recoilless Gun is employed mounted on a light-wheeled vehicle, the Bv 206 tracked vehicle, or a two-wheel trailer. In the two-wheel trailer version, the rifle is mounted on a turntable that forms part of the carriage and serves as an armrest for the gunner, who fires from a kneeling position. A 7.62 mm spotting rifle with a magazine of 10 rounds is mounted above the main barrel. In 1998, it was reported that 300 PV-1110 recoilless rifles, almost the entire Swedish Army inventory of this weapon, had been passed to the Baltic nations of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, along with 2,000 rounds of ammunition.
