Description

The RAWL-02 is a naval long-range surveillance radar operating in the L band, designed for the detection of both air and surface targets. It has an instrumented range of 150 nautical miles (approximately 277 km) and a beamwidth of 2.2 degrees, with its antenna rotating at either 7.5 or 15 revolutions per minute. Originally a license-built version of the LW-08 Jupiter, the RAWL-02 was independently further developed by Bharat Electronics.
