Launcher
The GM-94 is a specialized pump-action grenade launcher chambered for 43 x 30mm projected grenades.
Range
The AGM-93.2 can incapacitate unprotected personnel within an area up to 100 m2 from the point of impact.
Cartridge
The cartridge uses a high-low pressure system, in which the gas produced upon firing expands into empty space in the case before propelling the grenade up the barrel of the weapon.
Note #1
This has the effect of reducing the peak pressure of firing, making the grenade suitable for use in light, shoulder-fired grenade launchers.
Note #2
Originally intended for law enforcement use against heavily armed criminals and non-state combatants operating in urban environments, it later evolved into a more versatile military weapon which is currently in service with Russian military units.
