Ultro French 4x4 Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV)
Ultro

The Ultro French 4x4 Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) is an 800 kg, fully electric wheeled platform designed to support both mounted and dismounted tactical operations, including Direct Action and Reconnaissance missions. Like other robotic platforms from KNDS France Robotics, Ultro can be equipped with a variety of mission kits to handle reconnaissance, logistics, route clearing, and combat tasks. This vehicle is built to operate reliably and maneuverably across diverse and challenging terrains, including paved roads, dirt tracks, grass, brush, rocky areas, sand, narrow trails, muddy swamps, and dense jungles, making it suitable for serious off-road conditions. Ultro has a carrying capacity of up to 600 kg, providing versatile support for various mission needs. With an operational autonomy of 4 to 9 hours in standby mode, Ultro can reach a maximum speed of 15 km/h. Engineered for extreme ground mobility, it features a high-torque, high-traction drivetrain, a low center of gravity, and the capability to climb steep inclines, ensuring reliable performance in difficult environments. Additionally, Ultro is adaptable with a wide range of mission kits, including a logistics tray, remote-controlled weapon systems (up to 12.7 mm), mine detection and ground penetration radar, DEMETER mine-luring technology, a telescopic mast, UAV or micro-UGV trays, and more.
