Description
The SX-250 was developed and built by Shaanxi Automobile Works as a cross country vehicle in the 1960s and loosely based on the Soviet Ural-375 and the cab/cargo-bed designs of the French Berliet GBU 15. It was renamed by the Shaanxi Automobile Corporation Limited and used by the People's Liberation Army of the People's Republic of China for various uses (crane truck, transport cab, transport, etc.)

SX2150
Shaanxi SX2150K is a an improved second-generation version. It entered service with the mid 1990s and was produced in large numbers. This truck is fitted with an Austrian Steyr WD615.71 turbocharged diesel engine as well as 9-speed transmission. The engine develops 256 hp. This truck is significantly faster and has a top speed of 87 km/h, opposed to 70 km/h of the original SX250 and SX2150. It is 60 kg lighter than the baseline SX2150, but otherwise has similar dimensions and payload capacity. This truck can be recognized by headlights relocated to the front bumper.
SX2190
The SX2190 is a 7.5 ton 6x6 special heavy duty truck developed and built by Shaanxi Automobile Group and used by the People's Liberation Army of the People's Republic of China.
It is the licensed production version of the Steyr-Daimler-Puch (now part of General Dynamics European Land Combat Systems) Steyr 91 and replacing the older JN252, CQ261 and SX250 heavy duty trucks in the 1990s. It is one of the most popular military trucks in China.
SX161
The Shaanxi SX161 was a 6x4 version of the SX250.
