Description

The BYSTRA is a short-range, C-band 3D battlefield radar designed to protect tactical battle groups from airborne threats. Operating with an instrumented range of 80 km and an antenna rotation speed of 30 rpm, it utilizes an active phased array antenna. The system also incorporates a secondary identification radar, featuring an LVA antenna mounted back-to-back with the primary radar antenna. Additionally, the BYSTRA can function as a mortar locating radar.
