RABDAN 6X6 Emirati Amphibious Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV)

The RABDAN 6X6 is an Emirati Amphibious Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) offered by Al Jasoor, a collaboration between the UAE’s Edge and the Turkish vehicle manufacturer Otokar Land Systems. This variant of the Rabdan infantry fighting vehicle is designed to enhance amphibious capabilities and provide superior mobility in extreme off-road conditions, making it suitable for a variety of mission profiles within modern armies. The crew cabin is located next to the engine compartment and features adjustable seats for both the driver and the commander. The vehicle includes roof hatches, gun ports, vision blocks, an air conditioning system, a floating floor, and a towing eye. Additionally, the infantry fighting vehicle is equipped with a self-recovery winch to assist in retrieving the vehicle in the event of a breakdown. A ramp door located at the rear provides an emergency exit for quick evacuation during emergencies. The Rabdan 6X6 is also fitted with an integrated display and vision enhancement system for the driver. Its electronic systems include blackout lighting, fog lights, a logging and replay system for displaying video and vehicle data, a jump start socket, and command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence (C4I) systems. Optional features for the vehicle include a GPS/INS navigation system and a radio/intercom system.
