The RSR 940, also known as "Spider StealthRad™", is a two-dimensional naval radar system designed for coastal surveillance. Manufactured by Reutech Radar Systems in South Africa, it operates in the X-band (IEEE designation) or I-band (NATO designation) using Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) technology. This fully coherent, lightweight, and cost-effective radar is a Low Probability of Intercept (LPI) system, featuring an average power of 40 W, an instrumented range of 32 nautical miles (60 km), and an antenna rotation speed of 10 revolutions per minute. It offers an accuracy of 8 meters in range and 1 degree in bearing.
