The Leonardo MM/SPN-720 is an Italian-made, I-band, shipborne precision approach radar (PAR) designed for air traffic control. It provides safe and reliable final approach and deck landing guidance for aircraft in all conditions, day or night, and in adverse weather. Featuring solid-state technology and a low probability of intercept (LPI), its compact size of approximately one cubic meter allows for easy installation on various vessels. The MM/SPN-720, which has an instrumented range of 12 nautical miles (22 km), is notably deployed on the Turkish aircraft carrier Anadolu (L-400).
