GAM‐102 extended range missile
The GAM‐102 extended range missile variant has a 6‐km range, but features a cooled IIR seeker and is understood to be longer than the original or is likely to have a smaller warhead and therefore reduced anti‐armour capability.
Air‐launched GAM
The air‐launched variant is configured with a 130 mm diameter missile that has an effective range of 10 km. The missile is also fitted with a cooled IR seeker. Both longer‐range variants also have fire‐observe‐and‐update (man‐in‐the‐loop) capability.

The tripod‐mounted system consists of the missile, launch tube assembly, CLU that includes the EOIR sighting system and a servo‐system fitted to the tripod or vehicle mount for elevation or azimuth.
Propulsion
The missile is propelled by a booster and main rocket motor that provides a maximum speed of 170 m/s. The range is between 300 m and 4,000 m. A hit probability of around 90% is being claimed for both missiles.
