Description
The CLC-2 Chinese Search and Acquisition Radar is described as an S-band (NATO E-/F-band) (2–4 GHz) pulse Doppler air surveillance radar designed to provide air situation, target indication, threat assessment, target co-ordinate, target assignment and firing allocation data to up to eight self-propelled anti-aircraft gun or short range surface-to-air missile systems. The radar mounted on the Type 95 SPAAGM system command vehicle is the CEIEC CLC-2 S-band low-altitude surveillance radar.
