Description
The JY-21 is a solid-state Airport Surveillance Radar (ASR) that operates in the S-band (IEEE designation) or E-band (NATO designation), covering frequencies from 2,700 to 2,900 MHz. It features a dual-redundancy system structure and an independent weather channel. For long-range detection up to 70 nautical miles (130 km), the radar employs a nonlinear swept frequency modulation pulse compression waveform with a ratio of 100:1.
