The MMWR (MilliMetric Wave Radar) is a coherent airborne imaging radar system developed by Boeing Defense, Space & Security in the United States. Operating at 35 GHz in the K-band, this Frequency-Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) radar utilizes dual polarization and has an instrumented range of 2 km with a 1.6° beamwidth. It produces radar images with a resolution comparable to that of a TV camera, offering the distinct advantage of penetrating fog and smoke.
