Valdaj ARLK
The Valdaj ARLK, named after a Russian nature park, is an L-band (1200-1400 MHz) air traffic control radar complex manufactured by ZRTS. It integrates a primary radar, a secondary radar, and an Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) channel. The primary and secondary radar antennas are large vertical aperture (LVA) types, mounted back-to-back, with the secondary radar being an MSSR Krona model supporting both Russian UVD and international Mark XII standards. The system has a peak power of 10 kW, an instrumented range of 130 km (70 NM), a range resolution of 230 m, a beamwidth of 3.5°, and an antenna rotation speed of 15 revolutions per minute. An omnidirectional antenna is used for the ADS-B channel.
