Description
The Furuno M1835 (Model 1835) is an X-band maritime navigation radar operating at 9,410 ±30 MHz, designed for various vessels including pleasure craft, fishing boats, and workboats. It features a 4 kW peak power non-coherent, keyed on/off self-oscillating magnetron transmitter. The radar utilizes a printed array microstrip antenna, rotating at 24 revolutions per minute within a 60 cm diameter radome, and has a beamwidth of 4 degrees. Displayed on a 10.4-inch color LCD with VGA resolution (640x460 pixels), the system offers an instrumented range of 36 nautical miles (approximately 66 km) and supports switchable true or relative bearing.
