Description

Revathi is an F-band pulse-Doppler naval radar, operating between 3.1 and 3.5 GHz, used by the Indian Navy for air and sea surface surveillance. It is a derivative of the Polish TRS-19 radar, also known as NUR-15 "Odra." The system features a mechanically rotating and hydraulically stabilized antenna with digital beamforming, forming eight simultaneous receive beams covering 50 degrees in elevation for height estimation. Its transmitter utilizes a traveling wave tube (TWT) as a power amplifier, delivering a peak power of 120 kW and an instrumented range of 220 km with a range resolution of 200 m, while the antenna rotates at 6, 12, or 24 revolutions per minute.
