Description
The Rivne Class LST is a former Russian ship of the Alligator-class (Project 1171) which were Large Landing Ships. The ship is a beachable, general-purpose LST-type design with bow and stern ramps for unloading vehicles. Produced in at least four different types beginning in 1964, there are numerous variations in detail between units. A total of 14 vessels were completed between 1964 and 1975
