Description
The RDR-7000 is an airborne weather and hazard avoidance radar that operates in the X-band (IEEE designation) or I-band (NATO designation). It features a solid-state Gallium-Nitride (GaN) transmitter. The system utilizes a mechanically scanning flat plate antenna, available in 12-inch or 18-inch diameters, composed of slotted waveguides, and has an instrumented range of 320 nautical miles (approximately 590 km).
