The Giraffe 4A is an S-band, multi-function battlefield radar designed for medium to long-range applications. It integrates established designs from the Arthur and Giraffe AMB product lines with a new Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) sensor. This radar provides exceptional range and performance, offering multi-function operational flexibility, including an instrumented range of 280 km for air targets and 100 km for mortar detection, with an antenna rotation of 30 or 60 rpm. Its multi-function capability allows for simultaneous operations.
