Type Anti-Personnel Mine
Manufacturer INA
Design It is very similar to the Israeli No 4 and the Egyptian T/78, although the Iranian No 4 uses Composition B as the main charge instead of TNT. Unlike those in the Israeli model, the fuzes used in the Iranian No 4 and the Egyptian T/78 do not incorporate a lead-shear arming-delay mechanism. The landmine is normally olive green and may be unmarked or have markings stenciled in yellow.
Fuze The fuze is similar to the Russian MUV with a spring-loaded striker retained by a pin.
Stiker The lid of the Iranian No 4 has a narrow slot to accommodate the striker.
Charge The main charge is housed in a plastic compartment at the hinged end of the box and has a threaded well in the dividing wall to accept the detonator assembly.
