Sirius Compact L20C Swedish Passive Communications-ESM (C-ESM) Sensor
Sirius Compact L20C

The Sirius Compact L20C Swedish Passive Communications-ESM (C-ESM) Sensor is designed to detect, locate, classify, and track communication signals. It can be used as a standalone device or integrated into a sensor network with multiple sensors. Thanks to its low size, weight, and power (SWaP) design, the Sirius Compact L20C allows for rapid deployment across various Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) operations, making it suitable for disputed borders and even front-line scenarios. As part of the Sirius Compact family of passive ESM sensors, the L20C emphasizes agility and can seamlessly integrate with nearly any vehicle, including Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs) or static masts. It can be operated both while in motion and remotely, and it can be mounted and dismounted quickly without the need for tools. A crew of two can easily carry the sensor and its accessories into challenging environments. The Sirius Compact L20C is engineered with NATO interoperability and compatibility in mind, both in terms of hardware and software. Typical applications include: - Establishing a NATO REMP - Conducting tactical EW reconnaissance (RECCE) missions - Building an electronic order of battle (EOB) picture of enemy forces using a Threat Library or Knowledge Database (KDB) - Supporting Ground Based Air Defense (GBAD) and Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) missions - Assisting with Force Protection (FP) and the safeguarding of Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) - Developing mobile or semi-mobile sensor networks for border protection, enhancing strategic Communications Intelligence (COMINT) assets - Setting up unmanned mobile sensor networks and conducting UGV-borne RECCE missions, thereby reducing troop exposure to hostile fire.
