Description
The LW-R20-K-1 is a Ku-band (IEEE designation) or J-band (NATO designation) ground surveillance radar designed for anti-UAV operations. It employs digital beamforming to simultaneously measure elevation angles and features a Gallium nitride (GaN) transmit module. The radar has an instrumented range of 5 km, a range resolution of 25 m, and an accuracy of less than or equal to 10 m in range and 0.5 degrees in angle, with a 3-degree beamwidth. It can also be configured for sector operation, boasts a mean time between critical failures (MTBCF) of 10,000 hours, and a mean time to repair (MTTR) of 0.5 hours.
