Description

The Maham 3 Iranian Sea Mine is a high-explosive (HE), blast, moored, buoyant, anti-shipping sea mine with both magnetic and acoustic sensors instead of using contact horns or a direct impact with a target vehicle.

Senor The sea mine has a single magnetic sensor and two passive acoustic sensors.
Note #1 The sea mine is able to determine a ship's presence from around 3 meters in all directions and can estimate the best position for a detonation of the main charge.
Note #2 Various combinations can be programmed such as Code 1 (Acoustic low frequency) against steel ships, Code 2 (Acoustic low frequency & directional acoustic) against non-steel ships and Code 3 (Acoustic low frequency & magnetic) against submarines.
