MAN 27.314 DFAEC UAV-launcher
First deliverance of this system took place in summer 2001, and the second part was handed over September 6th. 2002. Other users of the system is the French and Dutch Army. An earlier version is used in Sweden, known as "Owl". The UAV launched from the vehicle is called "Sperwer" by the French company and the Danish nickname is "Kestrel".
MAN 27.314 DFAEC RCT
1 x Remote Communication Terminal (RCT) is used in each UAV-platoon in order to communicate with the UAV´s. The remaining 2 x vehicles are held stand-by in different locations in order to increase survivability.
MAN 27.314 DFAEC TRS
1 x Transport and Recovery System truck (TRS) is used in each UAV-platoon in order to handle and transport UAVs.
MAN 27.314 DFAEC ARTHUR
The ARTHUR system (ARTillery HUnting Radar) system was initially mounted on Unimog U2150 trucks. After its issue, the configuration was reported unstable and the system was transferred to the MAN 27.314.
After intensive use in Afghanistan, a need for modification occurred in 2009. Better cooling and filtration of the air is among the matters being dealt with. Also the software was modified in order to decrease time from plot to a warning in the fire control sequence. The software is known as "ARTHUR+".
This asset will be phased-out. No further information.
MAN 27.314 DFAEC C2
MAN 27.314 equipped as part of a mobile Communication Center used by the Danish forces. Reach-back communications is provided via satellite. Internal communications via telephone switchboards (tactical network), handheld radios, and computers riding local and wide area networks.

MAN 27.314 with containerized fuel-delivery system used by armored units.This fuel-delivery system, known as "Tankcontainer TA-M/2003", was developed in the late 1990s. It complies to current EU standards regarding handling of hazardous material. The central mounted tank contains 6.000 liter of fuel. Furthermore 74 jerry-cans can be carried. The container has a diesel-engine, type ID 50, which supply power (24 Volt DC) to the pumps, lightning etc. The system can refuel 3 x vehicles simultaneously with a delivery speed up to 200 liter pr. minute.
