R6SS

The Ranger R6SS is an X-band ground-surveillance radar designed for detecting and tracking personnel and vehicles. It has an instrumented range of 15 km, with a detection range of 10 km for personnel and vehicles, and a claimed drone detection range of 3.2 km. The system offers a stationary scan sector of ±45 degrees or continuous rotation, featuring advanced digital beam-forming, a high-speed refresh rate, and excellent clutter rejection for superior target acquisition and classification. Equipped with built-in North-finding and GPS, the man-portable and rugged R6SS can be vehicle-mounted or dismounted for applications such as artillery and mortar fire correction, providing an accuracy of ±2 meters and less than 0.2 degrees.
