Description
The Kirpi II Turkish 4x4 Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) is equipped with Aselsan's SARP 12.7mm and Dual SARP remote-controlled weapon stations, capable of mounting 7.62mm and 12.7mm machine guns, as well as a 40mm automatic grenade launcher. The KIRPI II features an independent suspension system and composite armor, significantly enhancing vehicle mobility while offering reinforced protection against mines, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and ballistic attacks. The KIRPI II is distinguished by its monocoque armored cabin, equipped with special armored windshields, shock-absorber seats, a weapon station, and an emergency exit hatch.
