QX-2 Emirati Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV)
QX-2

The QX-2 Emirati Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) system is designed to provide infantry and special forces with a portable drone that can carry and deliver precision-guided weapons or operate in a kamikaze configuration with an embedded warhead. It has a stand-off range of 20 km, making it suitable for various mission scenarios. Weighing a maximum of 8 kg at take-off, this electric quadcopter can accommodate payloads of up to 1.5 kg. These payloads may include a surveillance electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) gimbal, in addition to the armed payload, for gathering information before and after attacks. The QX-2 mini-UAV has an endurance of 30 minutes and can operate at a cruising altitude of 1,000 m, with a maximum ceiling altitude of up to 2,000 m. All QX precision-guided systems utilize advanced AI algorithms for targeting and striking, achieving an accuracy of 1 meter Circular Error Probable (CEP), which is comparable to laser-guided munitions. Designed for deployment in any environment or terrain, the QX family of UAVs is lightweight, man-portable, and features vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) capabilities.
