Description
The MR-750 “Top Plate” (also known as Fregat-MA, meaning frigatebird) is a D/E-band naval air and surface surveillance radar. This three-dimensional system utilizes back-to-back, serially fed frequency-scanning phased array antennas, with one antenna optimized for a different frequency band, making it appear slightly smaller. Due to frequency-dependent beam steering, the antenna face is rotated to compensate for the diagonal beam swivel, ensuring vertical beam scanning. The export version is designated Fregat-MAÈ.
