Description
The SeaWatcher 100, also known by its export designation SeaStar, is an X-band non-rotating active phased array radar designed for naval surface surveillance and tracking. Operating at a peak power of 1 kW per face, it automatically detects and tracks asymmetric threats and very small objects, such as swimmers and periscopes, in all weather conditions, with an instrumented range of 22 nautical miles (approximately 40 km) and a range resolution of either 7.5 meters or 35 meters. This radar system, featuring a 1° beamwidth, has been exclusively equipped on Dutch and Belgian warships under the SeaWatcher 100 designation.
