Description

The ELM-2311 C-MMR (Compact Multi-Mission Radar) is a highly mobile and transportable C-band Doppler radar designed for maneuvering forces at the battalion level. Operating as an all-in-one system on a single vehicle, its main components include an active phased-array antenna, cooling unit, power unit, and operator consoles with communication equipment. The radar supports Air Defense (AD) missions by detecting and classifying airborne targets to generate a real-time Air Situation Picture, and Artillery Weapon Location (WLR) missions by detecting incoming mortars, cannon shells, rockets, and missiles. In WLR mode, it calculates hostile weapon launch and impact points in real-time, provides friendly fire ranging, and can support fire control for Counter-RAM (Rockets, Artillery, and Mortars) weapon systems, with an instrumented range of 250 km.
