Aslesha
The Aslesha is a ground-based, lightweight 3D low-level surveillance radar operating in the X-band with an instrumented range of 50 km. Designed for deployment across diverse terrains including plains, deserts, mountain tops, and high-altitude regions, it detects and tracks various airborne targets such as helicopters, fighter aircraft, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) at low and medium altitudes. The radar provides accurate range, azimuth, and height information for each target using electronically steerable multi-beam technology in elevation, sweeping 360 degrees in azimuth and 30 degrees in elevation. Its semi-distributed active aperture radar architecture incorporates advanced Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) and high-speed digital technologies, including high-efficiency transmit/receive modules, Direct Digital Synthesis (DDS), a digital receiver, and a programmable signal processor, to ensure high accuracy, resolution, and reliability in airspace awareness.
