Description
The Model 123 Thai Anti-Personnel Mine is a high-explosive (HE), claymore-shaped, plastic, directional fragmentation, anti-personnel (AP), landmine supplied with a command-operated electronic firing device and an electric detonator, sometimes called the Mini Claymore.

Design
The top center of the landmine has a detonator well in which the threaded detonator assembly with the percussion cap and the detonator are screwed.
The inside front of the landmine is converted by a belt of approx. 400 steel balls, 5.5mm in diameter.
The inside back of the landmine is filled with plastic explosives.
The plastic casing is equipped with two pairs of adjustable scissors legs for placement on the ground.
Operation
The landmine is designed to be fired electrically and is delivered with an electrical firing device that has the same shape and casing as the landmine body. On the side of the firing device are two connection points, one red and one black, for the attachment of firing cables.
Batteries
Inside the firing device are eight 1,5 V NBA 58 V pen-light batteries in two different battery holders.
