Description
The Neva-B (Cyrillic: Береговая РЛС миллиметровых волн «НЕВА-Б») is a naval Ka-band millimeter-wave radar system designed for detecting and tracking surface targets. Operating at a frequency of 33.85 ± 0.25 GHz, it features a 2.5-meter antenna with a narrow beamwidth of 0.23° and an instrumented range of 45 km. The system can function independently or as part of an onshore observation post, offering pulse repetition frequencies of 3.5, 1.25, or 0.8 kHz, pulsewidths of 0.03, 0.2, or 0.6 µs, and a peak power of 12 kW. Two variants exist: the Neva-B, and the Neva-B2M, which incorporates a redundant (hot stand-by) radar front-end.
