Description
The Reporter is an X-band battlefield radar system designed for tactical early warning and target assignment. It operates at altitudes between 15 and 4,000 meters and has an instrumented range of 40 km. The system incorporates weapon control functions and an Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) secondary radar, which utilizes a line of dipoles mounted on its parabolic reflector. An improved version of the Reporter was manufactured under license by the Indian company Bharat Electronics Ltd.
