Design
The landmine body has a slightly convex front, a crude sight on top, with two detonator cavities on each side and a pair of folding scissor legs riveted to the bottom.
It is smaller than the M18A1 or the KM18A1 Claymore.
The front of the landmine is embossed with the words "FRONT TOWARD ENEMY".
It was designed to improve the performance of the Korean license-produced Claymore, the KM18A1 and has more fragmentation (770 steel balls).
Other than its size, the most significant identification feature is that the detonator wells are on either side of the landmine, not the top surface.
Note
The landmine is intended primarily for electrical command initiation, though victim operated fuzes could also be used.
The presence of two detonator wells allows landmines to be connected together with detonating cord or set up for optional command or victim actuation.
