VF-200P Chinese Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV)
VF-200P

The VF-200P Chinese Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) is a heavy-lift, long-endurance Hybrid VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) Fixed-Wing UAV manufactured by Chinese defense and aerospace entity Hinaray (also associated with Shenzhen SkyWing UAV Technology Co., Ltd.). As of late 2025, the platform is marketed as a "dual-use" system, primarily optimized for logistics, emergency response, and heavy-payload surveillance. While distinct from dedicated strike platforms like the Wing Loong series, its high payload capacity and autonomous capabilities make it a viable asset for military logistics and intelligence support. The VF-200P utilizes a composite aerodynamic layout, featuring a fixed wing for efficient cruising and quad-rotors for vertical lift. This configuration allows it to operate from improved or unimproved sites without a runway, a critical capability for forward-deployed military logistics or disaster relief in austere environments. Features dual RTK GNSS (Real-Time Kinematic Global Navigation Satellite System) for centimeter-level positioning accuracy, essential for autonomous landing and precise cargo drops. The system's modular design allows it to be rapidly reconfigured from a cargo carrier to a sensor platform, aligning with the PLA's broader push for "civil-military fusion" where platforms can serve both commercial and defense needs seamlessly.
