Description
The CBAAR (C-Band Active Array Radar) is a multi-mission, fixed, active phased array shipboard radar system operating in the C band. Designed as a low-cost, lightweight solution for small ships, it provides surface search, air traffic control, anti-ship missile defense, and navigation capabilities. The system is intended to replace the AN/SPS-67 radar and features an open signal processing hardware and software architecture to align with other US Navy programs. It is mounted in a four-faced configuration, suitable for vessels where high-performance S and X band arrays are not required.
