Supercam X4S Russian Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV)

The Supercam X4S Russian Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) is a multi-rotor unmanned aerial vehicle designed for industrial inspection of hazardous areas and spaces inaccessible to other UAV types. The drone is equipped with a collision avoidance system, EO or IR camera, and optionally with various sensors. The UAV has a freely rotating gimbal with a carbon fiber spherical protective frame. The frame reliably protects it from collisions with surrounding objects. The drone control is based on a video stream received from a high-resolution camera installed on board the aircraft. Visual navigation and a protective carbon sphere allow inspections in places where there is no GPS / GLONASS signal. The unmanned aircraft is designed for industrial inspection of confined spaces and hazardous areas. The drone can also be used to inspect the overpass, the internal part of storage tanks, ships, reactors, cellular network mast towers, high-rises,s, and other dangerous and inaccessible objects.
