S570 Chinese Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV)

The S570 Chinese Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) has a reconnaissance range of up to 10 kilometers and a lethal radius of approximately 8 meters. It is equipped with both infrared (IR) and charge-coupled device (CCD) guidance systems. The S570 can be launched by an individual or from a launch vehicle. The S570 loitering munition has a combat range of 10 kilometers and is primarily designed to target light armored vehicles, buildings, and groups of soldiers. Essentially, this weapon is a small drone equipped with a warhead, propelled by a propeller. After launch, four folded wings deploy to ensure flight stability. Under the control of the operator, the loitering munition can accurately strike designated targets. It can penetrate armor with a thickness of more than 60 millimeters, making it effective against general infantry fighting vehicles and capable of damaging tank power systems by targeting the cabin. Individual operators can carry up to six S570 loitering munitions in a backpack.
