Description

The VGM-93.1 Russian Anti-Vehicle Grenade is a grenade-launcher-fired, projected grenade with a thermobaric warhead, launched from the Russian magazine-fed grenade launcher GM-94. The GM-94 is a specialized pump-action grenade launcher chambered for 43 x 30mm projected grenades.

Design This VGM-93.1 projected grenade was designed to achieve its effect only by the detonation of the thermobaric payload, with a polymer grenade body resulting in almost no appreciable fragments.

Note Originally intended for law enforcement use against heavily armed criminals and non-state combatants operating in urban environments, it later evolved into a more versatile military weapon that is currently in service with Russian military units.
