Design
It is olive green with black Arabic writing around the main body. If equipped with folding fins centrifugal force deploys the fins, which stabilizes the spin of the grenade.
Warhead
It consists of a propelled high-explosive warhead designed to detonate with a very loud explosion while emitting blast and fragments from the pre-fragmented steel warhead body with a setback-armed, point-detonating (PD) fuze.
Operation
Upon launch flame from percussion primer flashes the igniter bags in the fin assembly.
Propellant strips initiated via flash holes in fin assembly consume the cartridge case.
Generated gas passes over thrust deflection assembly, imparting initial spin to grenade and igniting tracer element.
