Commander SL

The Commander SL (also known as AR327 Commander SL or AMES Type 101) is a high-performance, long-range, mobile or semi-static 3D air surveillance radar operating in the S-band (IEEE designation) or E/F-band (NATO designation). It features advanced electronic counter-countermeasures (ECCM) for optimal performance in challenging environmental and electronic warfare conditions. The radar is fully interoperable with existing and planned air defense command and control (C²) systems, and can also provide limited standalone air battle management capabilities for small-scale integrated air defense scenarios. The Commander SL is an evolution of the AR327 Commander, which is currently in service with the UK Royal Air Force and other international customers.
