Description
The TZM-T Russian Heavy Transport and Loading Vehicle. The main task of the TZM-T is to discharge and reload the BM-1 combat vehicle, which is part of the TOS-1A Solntsepik multiple rocket launcher system. The vehicle is capable of transporting up to 24 unguided rockets. The missiles in the transport position are covered with a special armor casing. All equipment is mounted on an armored tracked chassis based on the T-72A main battle tank.

External communication is carried out by the VHF radio R-163-50U, capable of operating in the frequency bands from 30025 to 79975 kHz on 10 pre-prepared channels. The radio has a range of about 20 km. Internal communication between the crew is carried out by a tank intercom R-174 for 3 subscribers.
